Nysc Camp Visitation: Rep advocates youth empowerment as a panacea to unemployment

It was a watershed moment at the FCT Camp of the National Youth Service Corps when the chairman house committee on Youth and Social Intervention Hon. Yemi Adaramodu paid an Oversight visit to the camp.
During his tour of the camp, he interacted and engaged corp members on self reliance, productivity as ways to cushion the menace of unemployment and this was as he realised that many of the corp members were incredibly talented in craftsmanship such as bead making, soap and other craft of significant value. The Chairman in a show of support bought some of the items made by the corps members and encouraged them to be an upstanding citizen that will contribute in no small measure towards the advancement of Nigeria.
In another development, the honorable Chairman also stopped at the Nasarrawa camp of the Nysc at keffi, Nasarrawa and amazingly during the tour of the camp, there was a corps member with the name pascal chigozie from IMO state whose obvious lack of vision could not stop him from excelling in the art of craft making, the sight was an emotional one for the marvelled Chairman who not only bought the Items made by the Corps member but also promised that his will be a case study for deliberation at the National Assembly and believed strongly that he would receive maximum Support of the members to support this physically challenged individual to make most out of his passion.
While speaking with the media, Chairman is unsurprising adding that such as always been the way he does as it gives him unimaginable pleasure to always help out and contribute towards uplifting the youth across the length and breadth of the nation particularly those who show the willingness to be productive and remarked that such a gesture is always a common experience with him
